How it works
The AI reads the shipment: photos of the package and its shipping documents (SDS, commercial invoice, warehouse receipt, transport documents). What makes DG Inspector different from a chatbot with a rulebook is what happens next: requirements are resolved by a deterministic enginefrom the shipment's normalized identity — UN number, hazard class, packing group and transport mode — against a regulatory dataset parsed from the published sources with provenance. The same shipment produces the same verdict every time, and marks on the package are verified by value against the declared identity, so a wrong label surfaces as an explicit contradiction rather than a silent pass.

Dangerous goods compliance is a safety discipline, so DG Inspector is deliberately conservative: when evidence is missing or below confidence, the verdict says needs reviewinstead of guessing green.
